Event Days Power is provided to exhibitors for operating exhibition equipment, product demonstrations, audio systems, lighting, and other approved electrical requirements during the official event days of PROWAVE Expo.

The power supply must be booked in advance based on the exhibitor’s maximum connected electrical load (KVA). All power requirements are subject to approval and availability.

Power Booking & Charges

  • Minimum Power Booking: 2 KVA (mandatory starting slab).

  • Exhibitors must book power in multiples of the applicable KVA slabs, subject to the options made available by the organiser.

  • Exhibitors must declare their maximum total electrical load requirement in KVA before completing the booking.

  • The declared load must account for all equipment that may operate simultaneously, including audio systems, lighting, displays, and product demonstration equipment.

  • Power supply will be restricted to the capacity booked and approved by the organiser.

  • Requests for additional power must be submitted in advance, approved by the organiser, and paid for separately at the applicable rates.

  • Bookings below the minimum 2 KVA slab will not be accepted.

Important: Selecting 2 KVA or any higher capacity does not authorise the exhibitor to exceed the approved load. Any overload-related tripping or unauthorised increase in load will be handled under the overload and power restoration terms stated above.

Terms & Conditions

1. Mandatory Load Declaration: Exhibitors must provide an accurate declaration of their maximum electrical load in KVA. Under-declaration, concealment of connected equipment, or unauthorised increases in load are strictly prohibited.

2. Overload & Tripping Penalty: Any power tripping, supply interruption, or electrical protection activation caused by overloading, exceeding the approved KVA capacity, or unauthorised electrical connections may attract a penalty of ₹50,000 per incident, or a delay in power restoration, at the organiser’s discretion, subject to the applicable terms and safety assessment.

3. Power Restoration: Following an overload-related trip, power will not be restored automatically. The exhibitor must allow the organiser’s authorised electrical team to inspect the installation, identify the cause, and confirm that corrective measures have been completed. Restoration may be delayed until the installation is deemed safe and compliant. Any applicable penalty must be settled as directed by the organiser.

4. No Unauthorised Connections: Connecting additional equipment, drawing power from another exhibitor’s connection, modifying electrical distribution arrangements, or bypassing protective devices without written authorisation is strictly prohibited.

5. Equipment & Load Management: Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that all connected equipment, cables, distribution boards, and electrical accessories are suitable for the approved load. The simultaneous operation of equipment must not cause the total demand to exceed the sanctioned capacity.

6. Inspection & Disconnection Rights: The organiser and its authorised electrical personnel reserve the right to inspect electrical installations, restrict loads, or disconnect any supply that is overloaded, unsafe, unauthorised, or non-compliant, without prior notice where immediate action is necessary for safety.

7. No Guarantee of Immediate Restoration: In the event of a trip, fault, overload, or safety concern, power restoration will depend on inspection, corrective action, and the availability of authorised technical personnel. No claim for business interruption, demonstration delays, or consequential losses shall be entertained, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Separate Power Categories: Event Days Power is valid only for the official exhibition dates. Power required for stall fabrication during setup and product testing before the event must be booked separately under the respective categories.

9. Compliance & Acceptance: By booking and using Event Days Power, the exhibitor agrees to comply with all declared-load limits, electrical safety instructions, and organiser requirements. Violations may result in disconnection, additional charges, penalties, or refusal of further power supply.

Important: Exhibitors must assess their power requirements carefully and declare the maximum KVA required before completing their booking. The organiser’s approved load capacity and electrical safety instructions shall be final for power allocation and operation.
